NO MOON TONIGHT is an investigation of borders, thresholds, and concealment. I made the film at the same time my father was losing his memory. It rotates his point of view and mine throughout, using home footage he obsessively shot in the early 2000s. Moving across the country through its margins and staging grounds, each passage traces systems of control that underlie shared concepts of love.
